The New Heritage Inn is located in historic Port Jefferson Village, Long Island's beautiful North Shore. It is easily accessible by car, train or ferry from New York City, and all points in between.
From Manhattan-Northern State
At Midtown Tunnel to 495 East(Long Island Expressway) to signs for Grand Central Parkway East. Grand Central becomes Northern State Parkway. Northern State East for 30 miles to the end. Merge with 454 in Hauppauge. Route 454 for 3 miles - bear left at 347 East(Nesconset Highway) for 8 miles. Left on Route 112 North to Port Jefferson. Left at blinking light on Main St. /Harbor. Go one block - cross traffic light the New Heritage Inn is on the left side at 201 West Broadway.
From George Washington Bridge
Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Throgs Neck Bridge, stay in the left two lanes, this turns into the Clearview Expressway. Take to exit one - Grand central Parkway East to the Northern State Parkway. Follow directions as above.
From Laguardia Airport
Follow as above on Grand Central Parkway to Northern State Parkway.
From East and West
Long Island Expressway to Exit 62 North(Road 97/Nichols Road). Follow County Road 97 North, 8 miles to the end passing S.U.N.Y @ Stony Brook. Bear right at railroad bridge onto 25A East. Through Setauket approximately 3 miles at the bottom of hill before traffic light New Heritage Inn on the right.
From Kennedy Airport
Follow Belt Parkway to Southern State Parkway East to Sagtikos Parkway to Long Island Expressway (495) East as above.
From MacArthur / Islip Airport
Exit the airport onto 454 (Veterans Memorial highway) to 27 (Sunrise Highway). Go East on 27 to 97 (Nicholls Road Exit) go North on (Nicholls) about 8 miles past S.U.N.Y @ Stony Brook to the end. Turn right onto 25A East through Setauket / Port Jefferson - at the bottom oh hill before traffic light New Heritage Inn on the right.
From Connecticut
The Bridgeport/Port Jefferson Ferry docks merge onto West Broadway go one block - cross traffic light New Heritage Inn is on the left 201 West Broadway.
